The Jamaica Stock Exchange & its Subsidiary (Jamaica Central Securities Depository) seek to identify highly motivated PRODUCT SALES REPRESENTATIVES.

Reporting to the Group’s Business Development Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the sale of products and services of the JSE Group (The Jamaica Central Securities Depository (JCSD) and The JCSD Trustee Services - JCSDTS).

The products and services include inter alia,

• Direct Market Access
• JCSD’s Client Portal
• JCSD Corporate Services
• JSE Data Commercialization products

The successful candidates will be required to liaise with the Marketing & Communications Department to assist in the execution of marketing of the products of the JSE Group, creating communication materials, and representing the Group at Seminars, Workshops etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or Management Studies
• Three years marketing and sales experience.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Sound knowledge of the mass and specialized media
• Sound knowledge of the operations of JSE’s e-Learning Campus
• Sound knowledge of the JSE Group’s products and services
• Knowledge of financial products and services would be an asset
• Previous experience in media sales would also be beneficial

• Proficiency in computer applications and publishing software
• Strong marketing and sales techniques
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
• Excellent negotiating and networking skills
• Effective communication skills (both orally and in writing).
• High regards for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
• Ability to make quick decisions and maintain calm under pressure
