The Marketing Team Leader will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies and the development and coordination of the company’s online presence and social media platforms, and the delivery of digital marketing campaigns and promotions. Supervising and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

  • Leading direct reports within the marketing department to execute and achieve set KPIs for all online and offline marketing activities.
  • Work closely with the senior management to build and execute marketing strategies.
  • Propose, manage, setup and optimize online marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
  • Lead the team to maintain brands visibility across social media and digital platforms to drive growth, marketing & cross selling products/services and engagement.
  • Ensure that standards set for community management, PR, response rate and quality of interactions are monitored and maintained. Report on community management providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Optimize automation, and lead-nurturing processes for timely dissemination from all channels (email, social, other digital touch points, physical) to respective departments.
  • Plan appealing content concepts for both online and offline marketing efforts.
  • Lead the team to prepare content calendars and marketing budgets for campaigns and ROI for all online and traditional initiatives and all approved content is executed on time.
  • Prepare reports related to campaigns, achievement of KPIs, ROI and effectiveness of activities providing feedback and recommendations that will tailor the approach and guide digital efforts.
  • Produce reports for social media metrics, lead generation, content creation, website traffic, and other marketing activities, goals and KPIs based.
  • Implement strategies and best practices for digital marketing, including analytics, SEM, SEO, SEA, display, remarketing, email marketing, social media marketing and content marketing.
  • Collaborate with the designers to prepare design plans for website structure, visual imagery, and implementation of web design.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for website development. Present ideas for improvement of user and process flows.
  • Ensure that landing pages and lead forms are executed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the appearance and accuracy of websites are maintained by enforcing content standards, designs and updating information in a timely manner.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and keep abreast of international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
  • Apply SEO principles to achieve best results.
  • Store and maintain company mailing lists/database, create and execute email campaigns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update brand guidelines for use of all company logos and brand assets.
  • Proofread following best practices for all materials before printing, emailing, posting or general publication.
  • Plan and organize press releases, conferences, events, and establish partnerships with community organizations.
  • Provide support to the marketing team as required for product/service research, launch and campaigns.

Support Functions

  • Involved in planning and strategy building sessions for digital and marketing initiatives with management.
  • Support the team for marketing related activities, market research for products/services and product launches.
  • Organize webinars, participation of industry events including contract negotiations, booth design, planning and facilitating team presence at events.
  • Provide design and digital support to the team as required.

Minimum Acceptable Academic/Technical/Professional Qualifications

Minimum number of years of relevant experience

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in a supervisory role Marketing/Digital Marketing
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
  • Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript
  • Practical Web and Graphic Design Experience
  • Active on social media
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Master’s degree in marketing or related field would be considered an asset.
