The incumbent is responsible for supporting the work of the Sales Managers and Commercial teams with administrative functions to enhance the performance of the Division.

To interact and support customers in response to inquiries/requests about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints when providing relief to the CSR’s, Sales Representatives, Depot and Promoter to ensure the effective accomplishment of the department’s objectives.

Some Main Responsibilities include: 

  • Assist with preparing and attaining approvals for Advertising and Promotion form and submit to customer service for processing.
  • Follow up on Advertising and Promotion products for Sales Representatives, promotions and donations as required.
  • Prepare and compile quotations from suppliers for marketing activities and approval
  • Create and disseminate marketing materials needed for sales teams to launch/introduce products in line with road map.
  • Assist with the preparation of hampers for promotion and marketing.
  • Update HES Department product catalogue of new and discontinued items in a timely manner.
  • Assist with management of product displays, conferences and meetings locally and regionally. This includes sending of communications and coordinating with Sales Managers/suppliers before, during and after the activities. These events must be in compliance with supplier requirements.
  • Work closely with the Sales Managers to develop effective promotional strategies, inclusive of assisting with execution of objectives and plans.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of promotional events, internal and external, as directed.
  • Prepare post-event review for promotions or sponsorship activities. 
  • Liaise with Digital Marketing team to assist with Brand awareness online.
  • Assist with developing, maintaining and updating the Health Care calendar of events and respective activities in coordination with relevant teams e.g. Pharma/HR etc.
  • Source items needed for promotions, which includes uniforms, banners, booths etc.
  • Ensure all required products for promotions are billed, collected or delivered to promotions as scheduled.
  • Assist with recording all promotional activities i.e. event date, venue and time and sales, and pictures/videos from events to include in monthly and quarterly communications.
  • Assist Sales Managers with the preparation of presentations via PowerPoint /Canva as required.
  • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company.

Qualification, Experience and Requirement: 

  • Diploma in Marketing / Business Management or related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years similar experience in a Distribution Company 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
  • A valid Police Certificate of Good Character

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to manage work to meet deadlines
