Job description – Marketing Assistant/Service Technician

DESCRIPTION:

Our Guyana office is interested in hiring a Guyanese national, who resides in Trinidad and is willing to travel to and from Trinidad and Guyana in the capacity of Service Technician and Marketing Assistant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling incoming calls and other communications.
• Managing filing system.
• Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
• Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
• Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
• Organizing travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
• Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
• Performs a wide variety of basic facility maintenance.
• Performs routine repair and adjustment of equipment.
• Assists with the installation, maintenance and operation of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Techinician Certificate/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic or Biomedical Equipment Technology would be an asset
• The candidate must possess at least 5 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English
• The candidate must also possess at least 2 CAPE subjects in Chemistry and Biology
• Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office
• The candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle/ motor cycle license.
• Foreign nationals must show a valid work permit, where applicable.
