The Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC), in its drive towards improving and expanding its services, is pleased to invite applications for the following CONTRACT position: 

Manager – Sales & Product Development

one (1) position

JOB SUMMARY:

This position requires an individual to drive product development, sales, revenue generating activities and the creation of new revenue streams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works closely with the head of Marketing in creating new revenue streams.
• Conducts appropriate market research in conjunction with the planning and research department on competitive services and firms.
• Create presentations, including PowerPoint, and participates in sales and management meetings.
• Liaise with the contracted advertising agencies of the Corporation to promote products and services in the public domain.
• Manages events including trade shows, customer and partner events, industry events, sales training sessions and other corporate events.
• Deputizes for the head of Marketing by representing him/her at company related functions and managing the Marketing and Communications Division in his/her absence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications in a related field will be considered an asset.
• At least five (5) years relevant experience as a Sales and Product Development Manager in a similar environment.
• Any combination of experience and academic qualifications from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
