Our client, the Trinidad and Tobago Trade and Investment Promotion Agency invites applicants for the position of Manager, Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
The Manager, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is responsible for the planning, organising and management of the development, operations and maintenance of the ICT resources and infrastructure of the Agency. Duties include developing and implementing the ICT policies and strategic plan of the Agency developing and delivering software applications and ICT services; managing ICT projects; preparing and managing the ICT budget; and developing and managing of professional, technical and support staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Information Management from a recognized institution
A Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field will be an asset.
MSCE & CISCO certifications would be an asset
5-6 years of experience in a comparable ICT environment with 3 years at a managerial level
Database management including systems implementation analysis, programming and report development capability
Security configurations firewall, SSL & TCP/IP networking in a cross-platform environment
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and implement the Agency’s ICT strategies, policies and procedures
Participate in preparation of the strategic plan
Oversee, monitor, and manage the execution of the Agency’s ICT function
Support the effective, efficient, and fully compliant operations of the ICT Division
Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the ICT infrastructure and systems.
Support human resource management by participating in the performance management and disciplinary processes
