To assess matters relating to the efficient and effective functioning of the Corporate Services Department in the provision of human resource management, finance, Information technology and office management services

Manager, Corporate Services

Key Functions:

  • To participate as a team member in the work of the Organization.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment across departments. 
  • To develop and implement short/long term plans/objective for the Corporate Services Department.
  • To administer the performance management function and make recommendations relevant to staff training.
  • To manage personnel records and employee database.
  • To manage the recruitment, selection and training of staff.
  • To liaise with senior management for the preparation of the Organisation’s policies, monitor the performance of this plan and make recommendation to address any deficiencies.
  • To participate in the strategic planning process, including setting objectives, defining key performance indicators and establishing action plans.
  • Develop and implement policies aligned with the organisation’s vision, mission and core values.
  • To manage all aspects of the building facilities to adhere to proper safety standards, maintenance of services including office vehicles and equipment.
  • To monitor acquisition, storage and distribution of administrative supplies and equipment and maintain material records.
  • To provide advise to the Executive Director on administrative issues.
  • To oversee the preparation of compensation and benefits.
  • To manage and control information and documents (classified and unclassified).
  • To perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of Human Resource and Finance guidelines / procedures
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and integrity in the performance of duties.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance or related field; with
  • Ten (10) years working experience and a minimum of five (5) years at a senior management level.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline will be an asset
  • Training in strategic planning tools and techniques
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience
