CORE FUNCTIONS:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to drive business opportunities and ensure successful transaction execution. Laise with the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking, Deal Reputation Committee, Underwriting Manager, Risk Manager and Head of Treasury to execute transactions within NCBMBTT’s policy framework.
• Originate, manage, and execute corporate and investment banking deals in Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana and the Dutch Southern Caribbean, including supporting post-closing activities.
• Work with the Manager – Syndication, under joint directive of the Head of Sales & Trading and the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking to syndicate issues/facilities that NCBMBTT is arranging or acting as a joint Book Runner.
• Identify new business opportunities, support fundraising strategies, and monitor market trends that impact bank services and products.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations and evaluate the financial health and creditworthiness of potential clients.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior executives, government officials, and co-arrangers, to manage relationships and ensure smooth transaction execution.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXEPERIENCE:
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
• At least 5 years of corporate and/or investment banking experience
• Intermediate to Advanced Corporate Credit analysis proficiency
