Maintenance and Logistics Officer

Job Description:

• Acts as Assistant Project Co-ordinator on all Constructions projects, new premises, upgrades and overhauls.
• Manage and co-ordinate the day to day maintenance operations, and assumes responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the Company’s properties, in consultation with General Management.
• Manage the procurement and delivery of maintenance goods and services with emphasis on cost effectiveness.
• Plan and programme logistics support for Company’s requirements.
• Develop, Schedule and manage preventative maintenance systems.

Duties:

• Supervise maintenance Contractors to ensure that works are in line with Company’s standards and procedures.
• Conduct periodic maintenance inspections and address any urgent deficiencies.
• Ensure that all normal functionalities are in optimum working order (electricity, plumbing, water network, air conditioning, and associated equipment).
• Manage transport function for the movement and storage of Company’s goods.
• Conduct periodic inspections of warehouses to ensure they are kept organized and clean, and that safety conditions are adhered to.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance of fleet of vehicles (Company owned and leased cars).
• Maintain proper filing system of records related to building assets and their history of maintenance.
• Oversee gardening/plants maintenance activities.
• To respond urgently to call-out emergencies to ensure the safety of staff and premises in whatever condition found.
• Carry out other related tasks as required.
