Responsible for performing all maintenance related duties associated with Preventative and Corrective Maintenance while providing technical and troubleshooting support in all areas of Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Perform all tasks as requested on Work Orders.

Ø Carry out Preventative Maintenance in accordance with the specific checklist for Plant and Equipment in a timel manner  in alignment with the department KPI’s.

Ø Liaise with the Operators to detect any malfunctions with the operating equipment and inspect, troubleshoot, repair and service machinery, equipment, service accessories, conveyors etc as required.

Ø Complete Work Order forms and submit to Maintenance Supervisor/ Maintenance Engineer for review.

Ø Communicate a list of parts required for service/repair to machinery and equipment based on their PM findings to the maintenance engineer / supervisor.

Ø Maintains equipment logs and other records as required.

Ø Ensure that workshop equipment is in optimal condition as per GMP guidelines by performing necessary checks and complete relevant documentation.

Ø Work with sub-contractors to effect repairs, installations in relation to equipment.

Ø Assist with general repairs and/or servicing to buildings and utilities.

Ø Responds to emergency breakdown after hours.

Education/Qualification

Education: At least five (5) O-levels including Mathematics and English & Diploma or Certificate in MIC/MET or similar qualifications. /EET/EEET

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the field of Maintenance.

Skills/Experience:

· Problem Solving and Technical skills.

· Good oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to interpret technical information and procedures.

· Must be able to work in physically demanding environment.
