Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carries out preventive maintenance checks, inspections and repairs on mechanical plants and equipment.
• Troubleshoots and rectifies mechanical/ electrical/hvac problems on equipment in accordance with established standards and specifications.
• Installs and tests equipment
• Diagnoses recurring equipment or systems problems, recommend corrective action and effects necessary repairs.
• Assist in the commissioning of new equipment
• Carries out basic welding/ plumbing functions required for breakdowns.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' working experience in HVAC, kitchen or laundry equipment
• Diploma on any of the Maintenance specialities described or equivalent
• Driver’s License
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Minimum qualification of three (3) CXC/CSEC passes
