Maintenance Manager

A food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Manager to join the team at their St. Ann facility. If you have strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for excellence, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a documented planned maintenance schedule for all plant and processing equipment.

  • Supervise and coordinate the Maintenance and Landscaping Team, contractors, suppliers, and tradesmen.

  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting, repairs, replacements, and system testing.

  • Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and recalibrate instruments as needed.

  • Maintain detailed maintenance records in line with HACCP/SQF standards.

  • Prepare timely maintenance reports and requisitions for parts and services.

  • Ensure safety practices are upheld across all maintenance activities.

  • Provide training and supervision to maintenance personnel to maximize productivity.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding plant operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven work experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

  • Hands-on training and experience in machinery repair, plumbing, boiler repair, electrical work, carpentry, and building infrastructure maintenance.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Submit timely reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.

  • Troubleshoot problems efficiently and implement corrective actions effectively.

  • Demonstrate leadership and delegation skills to enhance maintenance team performance.
