To provide quality support as a Maintenance Analyst, ensuring smooth and efficient achievement of the Department/Unit’s objectives and developing strategy, to improve the maintenance and reliability of the processing and packaging equipment

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:
• Provides high quality support to Manager and all team members to achieve the department’s objectives.
• Prepares and develops maintenance procedures for processing and packaging equipment.
• Prepares and develops loss time reports. 
• Develops and maintains department’s record management system to ensure up to date and accurate information.
• Liaises with internal and external service providers as directed, through written and verbal communication to ensure
   smooth and efficient coordination of work activities.
• Prepares Purchase Requisitions / Purchase Orders to ensure efficient workflow until delivery (as required).
• Monitor the attendance, punctuality, leave applications and schedule of the team members for efficient maintenance of
   the facility.
• Process overtime and meal allowance payments for maintenance employees.
• Develops and implement tracking system for tools and equipment for the maintenance technicians. 
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of tools and equipment.
• Assist maintenance stores personnel in preparation of materials and tool for daily activities.
• Perform any other consequential functions related to the position.
QUALIFICATION /EXPERIENCE:
• The Maintenance Analyst should have at least 5-8 years’ experience in a similar capacity, with at least three (3) years
   recent experience in the field of general maintenance activities.
• Must have achieved a Diploma in Business Administration or Higher or equivalent certification.
• Experience and knowledge in a Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Experience and knowledge of proper Records Management Systems
• Must have completed basic training in Health and Safety from a recognized institution.
• The successful candidate must have excellent time management and organizational skills. 
• Must possess strong interpersonal/communication skills and be an excellent team player. 
• The jobholder must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, to present reports/ spreadsheets of statistical data e.g.,
   Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Willing to recommend process improvements where necessary.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• Capable of working in a fast pace high efficiency environment.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Highly organised and detail oriented.
• Must adhere to all safety rules and good manufacturing practices of the Company during the performance of his/her
   duties.
