Machine Operator

To prepare machinery for operation and maintain, ensuring efficiency with speed/capacity and produces high quality products; operate according to operating procedures. To ensure that products meet the requirements

JOB OVERVIEW	:   To prepare machinery for operation, operate, and maintain machinery,
		    ensuring that the machine runs smoothly at the required speed/capacity
		    and produces high quality products; operate machine and equipment
		    according to operating procedures.
		    To ensure that products meet the required specifications and are produced
		    in sufficient quantities to meet production requirements.
		
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
		
1.	•	Set up machine.	
2.	•	Conduct safety checks before commencing operation.
3.	•	Start up machine and conduct test to ensure that settings and control are accurate.
4.	•	Make adjustments for efficient and smooth operation of machinery.
5.	•	Mix raw materials and feed into machine in correct batches.
6.	•	Follow quality control, reporting any issues to supervisor.
7.	•	Troubleshoot and perform basic routine maintenance checks, reporting any problems to
8.		maintenance personnel.
9.	•	Complete production reports/logs including rejects, wastage and downtime.
10.	•	Comply with all safety and health regulations.
11.	•	Clean machinery and upkeep work area in clean and tidy manner.
12.	•	Assist on production lines when additional manpower is required.
13.	•	Any other similar duties assigned from time to time.
