The AI and Business Solutions role is a strategic and innovative position responsible for driving process improvement initiatives and establishing the framework for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) within Caribbean Airlines.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Business Process Re-engineering: Evaluates designs, executes, measures, monitors and controls business processes by introducing innovation into the process that can impact results, enhance profitability and assist the organization to meet its business objectives and goals
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Leverage technology to identify opportunities to improve the business, leading the design and deployment of business solutions that provide significant value to the Organization.
  • Operational Effectiveness:  Ensures effective and efficient utilization of assigned resources, towards achieving operational goals and standards, as well as budgetary compliance. 
  • People Management: Provides leadership, direction, coaching, training and support to employees on new AI tools and processes, ensuring that they are fully equipped to use these solutions effectively.
  • Ideation and Concept Development: Continuously scout for and evaluate emerging technologies and AI trends that could be leveraged to create competitive advantages for the airline
  • Continuous Improvement: Reviews current systems and processes always looking for continuous system improvement with the view of meeting and exceeding operational goals and standards

 

 PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an appropriate first degree.  You will also have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a similar management role with extensive experience in business process design.  An MBA qualification would also be an asset.

 

You must be proficient in the use of:

  •  Process Automation: Allowing employees to focus on more strategic activities.

 

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Leveraging tools that process large volumes of data for decision-making.

 

  • Operational Efficiency: To streamline operations by identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in processes.

 

You must have a high degree of professional ethics, integrity and sound judgment and display strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You must be team-oriented and display independence and professional maturity.
