We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Logistics Coordinator to support a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic team in the logistics industry.

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring seamless logistics operations, managing carrier compliance, and building efficient load schedules. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in carrier sales, negotiating competitive rates and fostering strong partnerships to enhance capacity and service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrier Verification and Compliance: Verify carriers to ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations. Maintain and update accurate carrier records.
• Load Building and Management: Build, schedule, and manage loads efficiently from origin to destination. Coordinate and confirm pick-up and delivery appointments with shippers and receivers. Ensure all loads meet the profitability margins provided by brokers.
• Tracking and Monitoring: Track and monitor loads throughout their journey to ensure on-time delivery. Provide timely updates to brokers, customers, and carriers on load status. Quickly address and resolve any delays or operational issues.
• Carrier Sales and Negotiation: Secure carriers for loads by negotiating rates that maintain profitability. Handle inbound and outbound carrier sales to build strong partnerships. Develop relationships with carriers to improve capacity and service levels.
• Documentation and Reporting: Assist in processing and managing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all loads and transactions.
• Customer Service: Provide professional communication with customers, brokers, and carriers. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and satisfied with service levels.
• Team Collaboration and Multitasking: Work with the team to ensure coverage and successful completion of all tasks. Manage multiple responsibilities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage multiple phone lines, emails, freight management system, quoting, and load boards.

Preferred:

• Experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in logistics tools and software (training provided).

Flexibility and Additional Duties:

• Primary Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full-Time).
• Flexibility: Required to rotate and work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
  Shift Options:
    * 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST
    * 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
    * 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• One hour lunch
• Overtime paid in accordance with company policies.
