Overview of Role:
The Location Supervisor provides overall leadership, planning and execution for all the activities on the location. The Location Supervisor provides direction and focus to the team on the ground based on the Strategic planning that may apply to the location working closely with the Location Manager and or General Manager. Working with the core operations teams, the position enforces the implementation of organizational strategies, enforcement of policies and practices.
The Location Supervisor is ultimately responsible for all the occurred with the movement of guest, staff, rotation of equipment and customer service delivery. This position will also interact with the Senior Management Team and Board of Directors.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferred Minimum Associate Degree in Business Management field.
- At least 3 years experience in Operational related environment
- Excellent Computer skills and proficiency at Microsoft Office suite and basic technology literacy is essential
- Team Jamaica Certified

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Project a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Reviews ongoing tour performance results to targets and takes corrective measures with authorization and escalates as needed.
- Be open to constant change and managing the change to improve processes and policies for all levels of staff
- Drive initiatives in the locations that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
- Attend requisite meetings and huddles.
- Conduct and log routine team meetings and huddles.
- Accountable officer for critical processes that aid in keeping a location healthy and profitable.
Property Maintenance-Support
- Ensures site and facilities are clean and free of litter. Garbage must be disposed of daily. All guest areas should be maintained on a scheduled basis throughout the operation.
- Coordinate all site work. Request supplies and monitor usage to prevent wastage.
- Ensure that Cesspool Company empties the septic tanks as needed.
- Assist with the coordination of all repairs and maintenance needed for the location inclusive of preparing work orders and getting quotations for work to be done.
- Ultimately responsible for the aesthetics of the Location inclusive of physical infrastructure.
- Ensure that all trails and tour related routes are kept in the best condition possible, seeking to do timely improvements so as not to interrupt the flow of business
Tours & Logistics
- Manage all daily tour and excursion functions as stipulated by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Actively monitor and maintain capacity through effective Capacity and Resource Planning.
- Provide and maintain effective communication with the Sales Team through the Sr. Operations Manager, as to the availability of capacities and any changes that affect the selling process.
- Ensure that Labor ratios and labor efficiency standards are managed, maintained and ultimately improved.
- Oversees daily activities of the operations team to maximize scheduling and real-time utilization of resources; analyses and recommends part-time, flexible and full-time employee mix for the location.
- Interfaces with operations management to ensure smooth coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provides input on local conditions, identifies needs and receives direction on real-time staffing increases or decreases.
- Inspect all tour vehicles entering the site. Communicate deficiencies to the Location Manager, Fleet Manager and Senior Operations Manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure that a cleaning schedule is maintained for the all tours.
- Ensure that the required inspections are done for the all tours
- Ensure that the tour activity reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Monitor all tour times and address any deviations.
Safety, Standards & Environment
- Effectively communicate the importance of Safety and Standards to all staff members and monitor to ensure that they are maintained consistently.
- Report in a timely manner any incidents, accidents and or breaches of Safety and Standards to the Senior Operations Manager/C.O.O. and in the Chukka Whatsapp Operations Chat.
- Working with team to ensure that all necessary precautions are put in place to prevent Incidents/Accidents within operational control.
- Ensure that that all cleaning and sanitization logs are in place and updated.
- Water Testing as needed
Guest Experience
- Monitor Customer Satisfaction Ratings to ensure that the Client expectations are being met on all excursions or tours.
- Review complaints in a systematic way identifying areas within operational control and effecting processes changes to remedy going forward.
- Ensure the daily execution of the welcome, hosting, information, entertainment and farewell functions of the locations are in accordance with operational support and in line with the overall location experience.
- Utilize guest feedback to commend team on exceptional performance.
People Management
- Motivate staff and teams at the location on a consistent basis.
- Enforce all disciplinary penalties and rewards in conjunction with your Manager and PSV.
- Facilitate regular daily huddles with team leads and at least once weekly.
- Coach, Grow and develop team members who show potential to ensure that the company has an effective succession planning programs.
- Successfully plan and conduct training sessions based on need of team members or business
- Enforce employee grooming standards
- Perform other related or non- related company duties assigned from time to time.
Dunn’s River
- Maintain Relationships: Foster and sustain productive relationships with Dunn's management and staff to ensure effective collaboration.
- Petty Cash Management: Oversee and reconcile petty cash to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Driver Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with drivers to facilitate smooth operations and communication.
- Financial Documentation: Prepare spreadsheets and cheque requests for the reconciliation of armbands, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Grounds Upkeep Communication: Regularly communicate with Dunn's regarding the maintenance and upkeep of grounds to ensure standards are met.
AUTHORITY TO:
- Recommend and enforce disciplinary action in conjunction with HR against any staff according to the organization’s disciplinary code.
- Make decisions for the daily operation in line with strategic initiatives and best practices
