Loan Officer

Outstanding candidates with a proven track record of creating and converting leads to loans

Actively market and promote the loan products to acquire loan customers

Review credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation

Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility to access loans

Communicate with clients to provide updates on application status, existing accounts and new products / promotions

Refer applications for review and approval decisions

Update job knowledge on types of loans and regulatory provisions

Maintain and update account files / records both physical and digital to assist with compliance to the Data Protection Act

Assist, where required, with the collections procedures outlined in the S.O.P.

Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans

Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas

Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction

Engage in marketing and promotional activities as assigned the company

Operate in accordance with laws and regulations and adhere to compliance guidelines.

Maintain security by being alert and notifying security officers and superiors of any perceived threats

Ensure the confidentiality of the company’s information along with customer’s personal details.
