A detail-oriented Equipment Inspector to perform inspections and tests on a variety of equipment, trucks, cranes, forklifts, and machinery.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance – you are required to inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical and safety concerns, liquid level checks, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe operating vehicles.
  • Transporting requirements - you are required to assist with scheduling transport assignments from the point of origin to the point of destination as requested.
  • Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment for faults and or malfunctions.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks and corrective actions.
  • Documenting inspection results by completing reports, summarizing problems, and logging required repair
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations and Fleet management policy.
  • Advising the client or adherence equipment operations, defects and maintenance schedules
  • Compliance- Adhere to the client's standards and regulations for equipment and machinery.
  • Reporting - Reporting major defects and recommending necessary corrective actions.
  • Health, Safety and Environment - compliance when on the job site and COW processes.
 
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION:

  • Crane Institute of America Inspector certification under the OSHA regulations from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Certification in the Operations of Hydraulic and Pneumatics.
  • Defensive driving certificate.
  • Certificate of Character.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience inspecting heavy Industrial equipment and lifting devices/machinery.
