Sagicor Property Services Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our team in the capacity of:

 

Leasing Assistant (Contract)

 

Support to the leasing department by onboarding clients and maintain up to date profiles for existing clients of Sagicor Property Services Limited.

 

Location: Kingston

 

As a Leasing Assistant, you will:

 

  • Provide the necessary administrative support to the Assistant Manager by:
    • Preparing and submitting lease instructions to the internal Attorneys for the drafting of leasing agreements.
    • Preparing lease proposals for Sagicor owned and third-party properties under management.
    • Monitoring the client roll to identify rental/ lease renewal dates and providing updates to the Marketing Coordinator.
    • Maintaining general files and correspondence.
  • Receive and process enquiries from potential clients, prepare quotations for spaces to be leased, carry out preliminary assessment and background checks in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Liaise with the Accounting and Legal Departments, as required, for stamping or sealing of lease.
  • aid sale agreements.
  • Escalate lease negotiations for new tenants and renewals to Leasing Officer/Manager.
  • Prepare monthly Commission reports for Accounts and Board Meetings.
  • Prepare data sheets and update the Voyager System.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.

 

What do you need?

  • A minimum of six (6) CSEC subjects including English Language and a numeric subject.
  • At least two (2) years’ working experience in administration, sales and marketing.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and procedures.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management skills
  • Good knowledge of computer software packages, including word processing and spreadsheets applications.
