Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a winning spirit, demonstrating a relentless drive for success and the ability to inspire others. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for fostering key client relationships, driving sales growth, ensuring key client satisfaction, and maintaining these customers within their credit terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Key Client Relationship Management:

-          Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.

-          Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs and objectives.

-          Proactively address client concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

  1. Sales Growth:

-          Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market share in

           each key account business.

-         Identify growth opportunities within key accounts and propose effective sales and trade marketing         

          strategies.

  1. Credit Terms Compliance:

-          Monitor and ensure that key accounts adhere to agreed-upon credit terms.

-          Collaborate with finance and credit control teams to address any payment discrepancies or issues promptly.

-          Work proactively with clients to facilitate timely payments and maintain positive credit standings.

  1. Account Planning, Forecasting and Reporting:

-          Conduct thorough account assessments to understand clients' business goals and challenges.

-          Develop account plans that outline strategies for achieving both short-term and long-term objectives.

-          Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

-          Present regular updates to the leadership team on key account activities.

Qualifications:

-          Experience: A minimum of 5 years in senior sales roles, preferably within the building materials industry or

           a related sector, with a proven trouble-shooter mind-set.

-         Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills:

-          Proven success in strategic account management and surpassing ambitious sales targets.

-          Exceptional negotiation skills, influencing capabilities, and strategic thinking.

-          Able to utilize Microsoft tools for efficient communication, data analysis, and documentation.
