Junior Programmer

About the Role:

As a Junior Programmer, you will be responsible for developing applications based on software requirements, testing and implementing new systems, and providing technical support to clients. You will collaborate with senior developers and internal teams to ensure the delivery of secure, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop applications based on specified software requirements.
  • Write high-quality code following company coding standards.
  • Ensure adherence to secure coding practices for data protection.
  • Assist in the testing and implementation of new or modified systems.
  • Actively contribute to SCRUM team deliverables by coding, testing, and documenting work.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated test suites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as a secondary line of support.
  • Work with the product owner to refine software requirements.
  • Identify issues and recommend solutions with other team members.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies related to system security and risk management.
  • Assist in knowledge transfer and skill development within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Studies or related field.
  • Strong understanding of programming languages and fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of LANs, WANs, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with major operating systems and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
