Performs a variety of accounting duties including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, record keeping, cashing and other duties to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of accounting duties including but not limited to:

  • Posting and processing invoices
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Maintaining accounting ledgers
  • Reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintaining records
  • Cashing
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly final account
  • Performing other duties as required to support the efficient operation of the department

 

 Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • Pursuing ACCA or a Bachelor of Science in Accounting
  • Six O’ Level subjects including English and Mathematics, Grades I and II only
  • One to three years’ experience in an Accounts department working with computerised accounting software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a team player
  • The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Good organisation, time-management and administrative skills
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise and use initiative
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and Outlook
  • Strong customer service orientation
