In this role, significant emphasis is placed on completing your daily assignments timely and being responsive. The contractor is required to work closely with the customer and the local manager of his/her assigned area.
Some Key Responsibilities:
The Contractor will be required, specifically, to provide the following Services:
Analyzing, evaluating, and resolving any problems involving the power equipment and site's component systems. Which includes but is not limited to, cat 5 cables, Poe adaptors, Wireless radios, Switches, Routers, and Solar Systems.
Troubleshooting wireless radios issues and interpreting results to make effective recommendations.
Writing up daily reports and posting in Slack, abide by the company safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans.
Repair or replace faulty site/customer equipment.
Keeping abreast of advancements in your field and attending workshops as required
Communicate all field related issues to your Field Manager immediately , and Resolve immediately where possible , where a revisit is needed , the details as to why and what is needed to resolve the issue completely should be documented in your report
Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications
Building positive relationships with customers and distributing Client brochures/flyers into areas of interest when the Client finds it feasible for such to occur.
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

Operating vehicles and machinery in a safe manner
Troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment
Respond Promptly to all dispatch request assigned with an ETA
Troubleshooting of all site power system, which includes standard Ups, Various types of batteries, Solar System.
Installation of site Enclosure at Sites to House site equipment’s and batteries.
Climb Towers at various heights using climbing harnesses to install wireless radio antennas and remove similar equipment from towers when instructed to do so.
All reports must have detail information and pictures of the Job Completed so it can be cleared as to what was done.
Complete site survey properly when called upon to do so and provide all the details and pictures to compliment the notes provided.
Creates voice and data networks through the installation, running, terminating, and operation of telecommunications hardware, including routers, switches, multiplexors, Catalyst, and PTP Site Link.
Installing radio and necessary hardware at customer locations configure radios and switches.
The Contractor MUST complete daily online updates (if applicable) to ticket notes each evening outlining activities and results of such day.
Contact relevant customers, sales manager, operations manager, field manager or anyone else involved with the process of installation or removal of equipment when your daily schedule is altered or changed.
The Contractor MUST communicate effectively with the Network Operations Center (NOC) prior to any removal or installation of any equipment on any Client repeater site or tower location comprising the Client’s network.
Driving in assigned territory to troubleshoot, install, or remove client equipment
The Contractor is NOT to leave any repeater site or tower site without obtaining confirmation from the NOC center that all is working well at site.
The Contractor is to contact the field manager immediately when you remain at any one customer/tower location beyond two hours so that the field manager has the option to divert you to an alternate location or have you stay at such location.
Drive Bucket trucks if driving qualifications are met.
Configure and troubleshoot solar charge controllers.
Install and remove solar systems.
Recharge site batteries.
Working condition
The contractor will generally be required during the hours of 4am-9:00pm on any given day he/she is available to work and it is understood that typically he/she will not be engaged on any given day in excess of twelve (12) hours – the hours that constitute your standard daily rate.
The Contractor will be climbing radio towers to install, repair, or remove radio equipment
Operate in raining conditions inside/outside the site equipment rooms and customer locations with rain suit as needed.
