Data Analyst

The Data Analyst- Compliance and Quality Assurance will help ensure overall company compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. The Analyst maintains appropriate documentation, manages reports and ensures adequate, timely testing of internal controls.

Summary

The Data Analyst will help ensure overall company compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. The Analyst maintains appropriate documentation, manages reports and ensures adequate, timely testing of internal controls. The Analyst assists in conducting self- assessments to understand the risk environment and ensure proper internal controls are in place. The Analyst monitors consistency and trend analysis of compliance in all operational area of the company’s third party lines of business and is integral is ensuring reports are provided to internal stakeholders on a timely basis.

Essential Functions

• Manage all data related activities like conversions, extractions and reporting.
• Identify and provide input on initial analyses needed to develop and implement appropriate actions.
• Develop and implement call center portfolio metrics to improve overall collections performance.
• Assist with documenting test results to support the efficient resolution of problems and to capture defect data.
• Assist in conducting root cause analysis of defects and identify key and recurring problems.
• Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets.
• Recommends process improvements.
• All other duties as assigned.

• This position does not have Supervisory Responsibilities/Accountabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least an Associate Degree in a related field or one year experience as a Data Analyst.
• Basic knowledge of data collection.
• Technical skills regarding the manipulation and analysis of data required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs required.
