The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing the necessary technical support to all aspects of the human resource activities

Our client, LOCATED IN THE PORT OF SPAIN, in the Financial Industry is a seeking to employ a HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER

 

Compensation:  $7,000.00 to $7,500.00 

 

Job Specification:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably in an HR environment.

 

 Responsibilities:


 Assist in the recruitment and selection process, coordinating activities to
identify and onboard talented individuals.
 Organize and manage new employee orientation programmes to facilitate a
smooth onboarding process.
 Coordinate training and development initiatives, ensuring employees have
access to relevant learning opportunities.
 Coordinate the performance assessment process, facilitating timely and
constructive feedback.
 Assist in the day-to-day administration of the office, providing necessary
support and ensuring efficient operations.
 Prepare and update job descriptions to accurately reflect roles and
responsibilities.
 Prepare necessary correspondence originating from the HR department.
 Administer the companys group medical and pension plans, ensuring smooth
operations and adherence to relevant policies.
 Maintain and update employees personnel files and HRplus Software while
strictly maintaining the confidentiality of records.
 Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
 Assist in planning and executing company functions, contributing to their
successful implementation.
 Address employees’ enquiries and complaints courteously and effectively,
providing appropriate support and resolutions.
 Reinforce the company’s organizational culture via the design and
development of activities and engagement sessions.
 Assist in coordinating health, safety, and environmental (HSE) activities to
promote a safe working environment.
 Collaborate with external vendors for the procurement of goods and services,
ensuring effective communication and service provision.
 Provide general administrative support to senior management as required and
assist in various tasks and projects.
