SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Computer Solutions)

 

Overview: Our client is one of the longest established suppliers of Computer products and solutions to the medium-enterprise markets across Barbados. With their excellent reputation for customer service, and the current market trend of needed to integrate I.T to meet business objectives, this is an exciting job opportunity.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consulting and identifying opportunities to leverage the full complement of specialties and technology offerings which encompass hardware, software, solutions and associated support services.
  • Drive specific IT and office equipment solutions business through conducting face to face meetings, outbound calls as well as joint conference calls to customers and new prospects. 
  • Identify clients to target sales activities and to uncover opportunities.
  • Work with sales teams in developing relationships that will lead to more opportunities for specific product categories.
  • Meet minimum sales goals and activity performance goals and present results on a weekly basis to management.
  • Attend Company, vendor trainings and webinars, as required and become a sales expert through various certification processes for specified partner.
  • Organize and conduct events to showcase products and solutions to customers and potential customers.
  • Understand the requirements of clients, meet deadlines and commitments, and follow up with clients.

 

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in IT, Business or Marketing.
  • Sales training, client service training or computer industry training preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years proven B2B sales experience to medium-enterprise sector essential.
  • Previous IT sales or computer industry experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries, take initiative, plan, organize, and sell to various sized businesses.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to gain knowledge of IT products and services and be able to identify and use resources to achieve deliverables.
  • Clean driving license/Own a reliable vehicle.
