Junior Recruiter

Ocean Coral Spring Eden Bay is seeking a talented and seasoned Junior Recruiter to join the HR team. Our Recruiting team identifies top talent to fulfil staffing needs within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Receive, screen, and file incoming resumes, background, and reference checks
• Assist with evaluating candidates to determine alignment of experience, skills, and behavioural competencies needed for success in each role
• Arrange interviews with hiring managers
• Assist with initial screening interviews, telephone interviews, and/or face-to-face interviews with prospective applicants
• Assist with proper onboarding for new hires including the prompt and accurate completion of required paperwork
• Ensure new hire files are completed in accordance with company policies
• Leverage various resources - internet, community organizations, print media, formal/informal networks, colleges, trade associations to source qualified candidates
• Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures related to hiring and recruiting
• Draft new hire announcement, pre-boarding email and job advertisements
• Perform other tasks as assigned within the scope of the job

     Requirements

• A minimum of two to three years’ of volume recruiting experience (preferably within the Hotel industry).
• Associate Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverable
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Self-starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and analytical
• Sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
