Lead all promotion and executions of predominantly the on-premises and events channel within the local market.
Job Description:
Ensure effective execution of the on-premise channel plan
Account selection: Participate in the selection of target accounts in addition to the broader channel management focus.
Strategic planning: Develop strategic plans for both the assigned target accounts as well as the execution and brand initiatives for the selling period. Key elements of account plans may include:
Total Channel: Oversee and assist in managing the on-premises channel for the market with the local measuring - Volume, Distribution, Execution.
Managing the promotional team
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Promotion Team.
Develop and implement projects to improve sales within the HORECA Channel.
Effectively hire, develop and manage the performance of direct reports.
Develop strategies, build product assortments and manage promotional campaigns to achieve financial targets including, but not limited to, sales, gross margin, return on investment, inventory turnover and net margin.
Analyse sales trends and price of AMCO’s brands and that of the competitor.
Ensure the execution of promotions both strategically and tactically drive the top and bottom line while increasing marketing and sales efforts in stores. Evaluate campaigns based on frequency, budget to ensure sales goals are met.
Continuously work to set products apart from the competition in product assortment and customer experience.
Analyse data and communicate with Sales Managers and cross-functional team members to be reactive and proactive in setting a course to achieve metrics and assess items that are high and low performers to determine which promotions to continue, replace or drop.
Coach and mentor Promotions Team in creating basic, seasonal and promotional product assortments. Understand key items and how to drive them. Demonstrate creativity and understand trends. Direct efforts to bring brand to customers through interactions and experiences that activate customers through emotional connections. Create a sense of urgency within the customer. Actively engage and support product development and sourcing of quality products that bring value to our customers and profits to the company.
Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your co-workers and others who may be affected by your actions.
Work together on exercising prevention methods to minimize injury or loss. Suggest solutions to mitigate hazards.
Implement Project based off premise planogramming, and retail store reset metrics for wines and spirits.
Lead Wines Tasting and Trainings in conjunction with the brand marketing team in order to develop menu listings and patron education.
Support the Key accounts within Rest of Trade with high rate of return activations from shopper marketing insights.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
5-7 years’ Trade/ Brand Management experience
Experience with selling or marketing Wine and Spirits products.
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
Skilled in speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in both written oral and format.
