The Employee’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the below;
Maintain an effective housekeeping program to ensure a clean, safe and productive work environment.
Ensuring that Production’s output is maximized daily and targets are met according to budget and project, and that form utilization is maximized and all product is produced to the required quality standards.
Making sure that all resources are utilized in an efficient and productive manner at all times and making decisions in conjunction with the Operations Manager and/or General Manager having always taken all major aspects into account, such as health and safety, efficiency, quality, cleanliness and of course cost.
Making sure that all performance appraisals for all production, quality and maintenance employees are conducted at the required intervals for advancement or discipline and then of course following through on such.
Be a hands-on manager with daily presence in the production areas.
Work with department managers and executives to plan and schedule production operations. Communicate production schedules and related information to department supervisors and other leadership.
Track and report production and plant performance data. Work with accounts to provide the necessary production/plant data for financial reporting.
Read drawings and production schedules to ensure materials and other resources are in place and projects start on time.
Oversee inventory of plant materials.
Overseeing the maintenance department in conjunction with the maintenance supervisor to ensure that all equipment is performing/functioning at the required standards, and scheduling the necessary equipment availability for servicing to be conducted.
Manage that all aspects of the quality department and process to ensure all is in accordance with engineering and building standard.
Manage all logistical aspects of the transportation of product, including exporting to overseas projects.
Accountable for the successful execution of each project, meeting time and budget goals.
Work with sales, engineering, and project managers to troubleshoot problems and provide the customer with high quality products and service.
Conduct research and development of processes and strategies as needed.
Design and implement training programs for all plant personnel.
Participate in hiring, discipline, and other personnel matters as needed.
Perform plant tours for general contractors, architects, and others.
Be a driver of continuous process improvement.
Comply with and enforce all company policies, procedures and safety requirements. Continuously promote and follow the Company’s Values, 5S System, Health & Safety policies and Total Operational Cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
