We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented individuals to fill the following contracted roles in our Kingston location.

GODDARD CATERING GROUP (JAMAICA) LIMITED, is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 locations across the Caribbean and Latin America.  We are seeking dynamic and result-oriented individuals to fill the following contracted roles in our Kingston location.

The Positions:

RANGE COOK

Functions include:

• Preparing meals and sauces according to specifications.
• Ensuring that all pre-established standards are maintained.
• To produce hot entrees, marinades, sauces to required standards.

PANTRY COOK

Functions include:

• Cleaning and preparing vegetables and fruits
• Cleaning and preparingmeats and dressings for the preparation of salads and meals,
• Ensuring that all pre-established standards are maintained.

PASTRY COOK

Functions include:

• Preparing desserts and baked items according to specifications.
• Ensuring that all pre-established standards are maintained.

BUTCHER

Functions include:

• Preparing all meats, fish and seafood according to specifications, while ensuring the highest quality standards.

APPLICANTS SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING: -

• Level 2 qualification in Commercial Food Preparation by HEART Trust/NSTA or any other vocational training institution. 

• At least two (2) years’ experiences in the catering field.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.

• Ability to work well as a member of a team.

• Ability to do bulk cooking, for over 100 persons.

• Willingness to work flexible hours - public holidays and weekends.

• A strong sense of loyalty, honesty, integrity and punctuality.

• A valid food handler’s permit.
