Internal Auditor Assistant TEMPORARY

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing operational, financial and compliance audits under the guidance of the Internal Auditor

THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. MUST BE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME.

Our client located in Port of Spain is seeking to recruit a TEMPORARY Internal Auditor (OPERATIONAL)

  Salary Range : $13,000.00 

  Term of Contract : Ending December 2023

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A recognized professional qualification from either of the following or equivalent - o CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

o  ACA (Associate Chartered Accountants)

o ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountant) o IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors)

Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.

Knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling

methods involved in conducting audits.

Knowledge of computerized accounting and auditing record keeping systems.

Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.

Ability to maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit, particularly legislation changes and developments as they affect organizations, and new auditing techniques and practices. Understanding of business operations.

Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and abilities.
