• Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cash, clearing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Promote and advise on the bank’s products and services.

Job Description:

• Receive and count working cash at beginning of shift.
• Identify customers, validate cheque legitimacy, and encash cheques.
• Accept checks for deposit and ensures accuracy of deposit slip.
• Process cash deposit and withdrawals, maintaining an emphasis on AML/TF protocols.
• Perform specialized tasks such as preparing cashier’s checks, personal money orders, issuing Traveller’s checks and exchanging foreign currency.
• Perform services for customers such as ordering bank cards and checks.
• Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank procedures.
• Balance currency, cash, and checks at end of each shift.
• Answer queries regarding checking and savings accounts and other bank related products.
• Resolve issues and problems with customer’s accounts.
• Explain, advise on and promote bank products and services to customers.
• Identify referral opportunities and make relevant referrals.
• Support with the replenishment of ATM and branch cash counts.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures
• Accept commercial deposits
• Sales and Purchase of Foreign currency cash

Education and Experience Requirements:

• CXC O’ Levels, Diploma or Degree in Business Administration.
• At least 1 year experience within a banking environment.
• Superior numeric skills and strong analytical and reasoning ability
