Guarantee the timely delivery of import orders/export requirements under an appropriate Logistics and Customs procedure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control the acceptance of import orders by the supplier, verify their replication in the SLI/SRM, follow up for timely delivery of import orders at origin.
• Comply with the Customs obligation to file the advance shipping document in advance.
• Register or notify shipment to the Customs Agent and ensure billing of international transport / expenses at origin, for closing in the system with the Logistics Operator roll.
• Coordinate and manage processes to carry out import/export customs procedures.
• Coordinate national ground transportation.
• Settle customs / ground transportation expenses and supervise Logistics Operation expenses at origin.
• Registration and delivery of physical files to Accounts Payable
• Process import costing requests and provide support in the analysis and provision of information for the development of new projects to Cemex users.
• Coordination of Heavy Equipment. (Mobile equipment and machinery).
• Coordination of exports and imports to and from the Jamaica Free Zone.

REQUIRED ANALYTICAL AND REASONING ABILITY

• Must have good communications and customer relations skills.
• Must be perceptive and be able to perform analysis of data

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 Years’ experience in International Logisitics/Foreign Trade
• Professional Qualification in Logistics or related area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
• Working knowledge of SAP (asset)
