Our client, a global leader in FMCG, is seeking an Assistant Procurement Specialist to join their team in the Cayman Islands.

In this role, you will play a critical part in extracting, analyzing, and providing data insights to support increased revenue and cost optimization. If you have a knack for data analytics, a strong analytical mindset, and a desire to shape the future of procurement strategy, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Utilize your skills in data mining and analytics to interpret and report on large integrated data sets, both structured and unstructured, to uncover valuable insights.
• Actively seek industry best practices and develop new capabilities for data analytics to drive our Procurement Strategy and objectives.
• Develop and manage key scorecards and business reports, providing critical analysis and insights to support decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics (or Statistics Major), or Data Analytics.
• 1+ years of experience in analytics, with expertise in analyzing complex datasets and building statistical models. Proficiency in MS-Office is a must.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex data effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to find patterns in data and connect insights to business knowledge.
• Master's degree in a related discipline would be a bonus
• Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
