Responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and or/or related services.
Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the company’s products to assigned territory/market segment to secure new business
Prospect and qualify new sales leads through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Conduct customer visits to ensure satisfaction, gain market intelligence and deepen customer relationships
Complete proposals and sales activities, closing sales opportunities quickly and efficiently
Prepare and follow up on quotations
Liaise with Accounts Receivables & Customers to ensure payments are collected within the specified period
Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimise the sales effort
Liaise directly with project teams on technical projects on behalf of the company
Maintain customer accounts
Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding customer targets and achievement levels
Cooperate with Customer Service Representatives to confirm that all orders are processed with accuracy, invoiced, properly distributed and back orders updated timely
Maintains overall responsibility for following up on the delivery of goods
Managing technical large-scale projects
Assist in monthly/annual stock taking as needed
Promote safety awareness and the development of a Safety Culture within the company
Liaise with external customers/contractors/suppliers as and when necessary
