Educational Technology Services Assistant

The Educational Technology Services Assistant will assist CollegeStarTT students in acquiring the required levels of proficiency in the use of computer hardware and software needed to pursue and successfully complete their courses and or programmes of study

In addition they will provide training and support to faculty members in the appropriate use of  technology resources.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide Help Desk services for all tutorial labs.
• Deliver courses and evaluate student learning in computer literacy and Microsoft Productivity Suite courses to be offered at the various sites as required.
• Research and review technology solutions resources that provide support for academically underprepared students.
• Prepare reports on student and faculty learning outcomes, and lab use as required
• Liaise with Technology Services staff in respect of networking, system security and administration services
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 Requirements:

• At minimum, an Associate in Applied Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent qualifications from an accredited institution. (Applicants with extensive relevant experience will also be considered)
• Comp TIA A+ certification
• At least 3 years' experience working in information technology in a higher education setting
• Working in a MAC environment will be an asset.

 Compensation:

-   Salary Range - $7,600 - $9,900.00 per month

-   Gratuity – 20% gross base salary
