Position Scope:

 

The Tobago Courier Hub Supervisor (TCHS) supports the Domestic Services Team Leader (TL) in ensuring the effective supervision of the operations at the Tobago Courier Hub. This is inclusive of but not limited to overseeing the reconciliation of courier items moving between the National Mail Centre and Scarborough Hub, ensuring accountability, monitoring and ensuring the efficacy of the Tobago courier network as well as the administrative process that support it.

 

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

 

  • To assist the Domestic Services TL in ensuring all daily data generated is captured and stored both hard copy and digitally.

  • To adhere to your rosters and working hours and the Corporation’s policies and procedures.

  • To ensure that all assigned documentation, data entry, monitoring and filing needs are efficiently completed inclusive of Track and Trace entries and courier items reconciliation.

  • To ensure under the guidance of the Domestic Services TL that the generation of reports assigned to you are accurate and timely.

  • To comply with the Hub’s stated processes and procedures.

  • To give oversight on the Tobago courier network and make adjustments where needed to maintain efficacy.

  • To receive, dispatch all courier items within stated timelines.

  • Support the Courier Hub deliverable when necessary in scanning of items into the tracking system.

  • Adhere to health, safety and environmental rules, regulations and guidelines.

  • Performs other related duties that may be required by the job function.

  • To act as point person for all customers in Tobago.

  • Ensures a high degree of customer care and service is provided to all customers.

  • Ensures a high degree of accuracy with all information when dealing with customers.

  • Ensures that all customer proprietary information is kept confidential.

  • To assist the Domestic Services TL in ensuring that all deliverables to customers are accurate and timely.

  • To safeguard TTPost’s image and brand when liaising with customers

     

. Education:

 

  • Diploma or First Degree in Management or related field.

     

    Experience:

     

  • Experience in Courier or related field
