Assist to provide a financial and accounting function to the Company which effectively contributes o short-term and long-term planning and objectives. Ensures that the Company complies with all corporate and statutory financial requirements

Job Title: Chief Accountant

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Accounting or equivalent qualification.(A.C.C.A or C.P.A) 
• Three (3) years’ post qualification experience in a similar capacity.

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment would be a distinct advantage

Specific Knowledge (however acquired) Required to Start:

• Sound knowledge of GAAP and I. F.R.S.
• Sound knowledge of accounting software packages.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Basic knowledge of Manufacturing Accounting

• Senior Accountant - – Financial Reporting
• Senior Accountant - Treasury & Payables
• Senior Cost Accountant
• Sales Accounting Supervisor
•  Payroll Supervisor

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure that established internal financial control procedures are maintained
• Monitor staff performance and development and recommend placement, disciplinary action, promotions, transfers and training where necessary.
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts
• Assist with the preparation of Budget, Forecasts in accordance with established guidelines and deadlines.
• Ensure the supervision of the accounts Payable function of the Company is carried out effectively.
• Ensure the efficient administration of payroll activities.
