The Business Analyst support the tracking, development and planning of reports, products, promotions, policies, and all other items related to the Consumer Banking Portfolio and Digital Sales Unit.
Core Functions
• In conjunction with business partners, analyze market trends and developments to identify opportunities that can be exploited to the benefit of the division and the organization.
• Support the Manager and Divisions Heads in developing appropriate reports and decision support systems to facilitate proactive decision making.
• Support Unit’s Manager in product management including but not restricted to
(a) Co-ordinating the development of new products, policies and procedures resulting from the implementation of changes, ensuring operational efficiency.
(b) Conceptualizing products and business processes. Work with business partners to oversee the development of new processes/procedures and modification to existing processes/procedures.
(c) Preparing detailed business requirements for new /changes to systems, products, programmes, and processes raised by the Division for development by GOTD.
• Support Sales and Marketing Units with the development and co-ordination of external partnerships focused on driving business growth
• Manage the Unit’s data request and requirements. Analyze and model such data to identify patterns and trends that can be changed, improved or exploited to improve divisional efficiency or profitability.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or any other related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years working experience in a bank or other financial institution.
• Experience in Product Management, Product Development and Project Management would be an asset.
