The Head, Trust Operations has oversight responsibility for the Fund Administration Department and the Custody Unit.
The incumbent will ensure the appropriate Internal Controls are in place, that there is compliance with those controls and that they are properly documented.
Key Responsibilities
Oversees the valuation of all portfolio funds under management.
- The accountability for the production of the daily Net Assets Values for all funds under management.
Oversees the timely and accurate execution and completion of investment decisions within stipulated deadlines.
Identify, evaluate, develop, implement, and manage sustainable new business opportunities within the Trust Operations framework.
- Makes sound recommendations for new revenue-earning Trust-related opportunities for the Company.
Oversees the preparation of monthly/quarterly reports to the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission and the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago.
Ensures quarterly performance assessments are completed accuratelyand timely.
- Ensure that these are completed on a timely basis.
- Proper scheduling of staff vacations and job rotation.
Ensures that securities received by the Company are in line with the holdings in each of the Company's funds,including privately managed funds.
Ensure nocomingling of securities amng the respective funds of the Company.
Oversees and ensures the timely execution of payment to bondholderss, trustees and Registrar and Paying Agent.
Ensures compliance with the terms and conditions of the Trust Deeds.
Monthly reporting of all bonds for which the Company acts as Trustee, Registrar or Paying Agent.
- All fiduciary responsibilities to the bondholders and parties to the Trust Deed are executed.
- This includes making inerest and principal payments for bonds as required.
- Timely submission of reports.
Prepares notes and submissions to the Board of Directors, Trust Committee, and any other sub-committee as required.
Oversees the maintenance and reconciliation of the Units in Issue for all Funds.
Ensures all portfolio funds comply with al regulatory guidelines and requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Training
- A first degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- A post grauduate diploma will be an asset.
- A tack record as a senior leader for at least six (6) consecutive years.
- A minimum of five (5) years' working experence at a senior level within a financial institution.
- Strong technical competence.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the relevant field.
- High levels of confiedentiality and integrity.
