PROJECTS STOREKEEPER

The Projects Storekeeper is responsible for maintaining and managing inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and overseeing the efficient and safe operation of the storage area. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Verifying all deliveries and issues before entering or leaving the storeroom.
• Issuing equipment and supplies against approved requisitions.
• Checking inventory items and reconciling with perpetual inventory system.
• Supporting employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts.
• Examining merchandise.
• Completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Notifying manager and/or supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Inspecting deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency and quality throughout case lots.
• Adhering to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
• Stacking received merchandise on pallets or carts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree or technical school degree is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience with at least one (1) year resort experience.
• Critical and analytic thinking.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
