Ensure a value-added service to Customers and Stakeholders, while optimising cost effectiveness and minimising risk to ASCO.
Roles & Responsibilities:
General
• Prepare Requests for Quotes, Supplier pre-qualifications, Purchase Orders, and other related documentation in support of all the company’s procurement needs
• Coordinates approvals and distribution and electronic and paper filing of supplier contracts, quotations, purchase orders and general correspondence
• Maintains register of Contracts and Supplier Purchase orders, ensuring up to date and tracking expiration dates
• Always maintain an audit trail through being responsible for the storage, filing, distribution, and completion of contractual and associated supply chain documentation
• Deliver cost savings through continual challenge on supplier pricing, and responsible for tracking and reporting of the same for the department
• Support the tendering, negotiation, and implementation of Supplier Contracts
• Maintain an up-to-date company Approved Vendor Listing, through supporting the implementation and roll out of the Supplier Management Database (SMD)
• In partnership with the Operational Business, supports the delivery of a growth-oriented supply chain framework which supports the overall strategic objectives of the Business Unit
• Apply standardised procedures and in all aspects of the job, ensuring adherence to local and global company policies and laws
• Ensure that the Anti- Bribery & Corruption procedures are adhered to at all time
• Develop pricing models for ASCO services specifically tailored to client requests, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal cost structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for the creation of accurate and competitive pricing models for client bids
• Provides support for internal and external quality and financial audits
• Other additional duties as may be required and communicated by the Commercial Manager

Minimum Qualifications
• 1-2 years' experience in procurement/supply chain or similar function preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
• Minimum Diploma qualification in Procurement or Equivalent Qualification.
• Clean Certificate of Character

Location
• Based in Chaguaramas but will be required to travel to and work from any ASCO location within Trinidad.
