SALARY SCALE: $3,350,847.20 - $4,020,883.33

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Human Resource leadership team in the co-creation and support of the implementation, management, and compliance of the Human Resource Department’s standard operation procedures (SOPs), systems and programs.  Scope of responsibilities include implementation and management of organizational development initiatives, change management strategies and to foster a culture of continuous improvement and integration to drive organizational effectives, efficiency, and agility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • B.Sc. in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.
  • Certificate/ Diploma in Human Resource Development.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in human resource.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Vice President, Human Resource & Administration, and respective Vice Presidents to maintain, develop and re-design job specification and descriptions for all job positions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resource Management team to assist in the review, and evaluation of HR operational systems, and standard operation procedures (SOPs) to identify opportunities for improvement, make recommendations to ensure that the Authority is compliant with Government practices and policies.
  • Implement and execute appropriate systems for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on the Departmental Service Level Standards and the strategic and operational plans and objectives to ensure compliance across all HR functions.
  • Conduct research and analysis on best practice approaches on various human resource and organizational development functions including compensation and benefits, HR risk management and change management to contribute to the Authority’s transformational strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management team to support the Authority’s change management initiatives ensuring effective deployment of change strategies with the respective project timeline and milestones across the Authority and its entities.
  • Prepare letters, the HR monthly report, and any other regularor ad-hoc reports required by the HR Department from the respective HR functional metrics, quantitative and qualitative data as directed by the VP, Human Resource and Administration.
  • Collaborate with the HR Management Team to assist in the coordination and improvement of the Authority’s staff welfare and satisfaction programs (employee recognition programmes, employee health and wellness etc.) to promote and maintain positive staff morale.
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging organization development, human resource management and change management trends and best practices and utilize them for continuous improvement for the Authority and its subsidiaries.
