Responsible for assisting with implementing and sustaining initiatives to ensure the overall improvement and accuracy of the inventory.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform activities to monitor and maintain parts inventory control records.
• Prepare inventory status reports on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis as required. (RNO, RNB, RNC, Multiple Bin report)
• Conduct cycle counts on selected inventory items and assists in the preparation of cycle count reports which provide an analysis of findings and recommendations for corrective action and improvements.
• Conduct and properly record investigations of inventory discrepancies and present them to Warehouse Management.
• Adequately document required stock adjustments and missing parts.
• Generate inventory age reports which identify slow moving or obsolescence inventory and make recommendations to assist in reduction of such.
• Assist in stock check preparations as well as on the days of the stock checks
• Assist with the implementation, development and maintenance of the Department’s quality programs as required.
EDUCATIONAL / SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• 5 CXC O ’level passes including Mathematics and English.
• Pursuing a Diploma in business management, supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
• Knowledge of auditing systems will be an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
