Develop and execute effective mechanisms to detect and minimize fraud and losses that may result from the processes executed by the Team.
Core Functions
• To lead and manage the operational fulfillment for Credit Operations functions for the NCB Financial Group. Credit Operations key processes include:
o Preparation of credit related documents for relevant business lines
o Verification of credit related documents in line with origination and disbursement conditions
o Perfection of all security documentation for relevant business lines
o Husbandry and management of all security documents for relevant business lines
• Develop and execute effective mechanisms to detect and minimize fraud and losses that may result from the processes executed by the Team.
• Conceptualize, develop, implement, and maintain effective problem management and issue tracking mechanisms to ensure the resolution of queries raised by internal and/or external customers and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring processes are continually improved and the Team executes changes needed to improve performance and achieve objectives.
• Manage the workflow and service delivery so that the team and individual objectives are met, and the unit standards are consistently maintained.
• Identify measure and track and report on the performance metrics for the unit and support the individual performance plans and monitor performance against plan.
• Manage the team, the communication to and from the team and the relationship with other teams. Lead and coach all team members assigned.
• Participate in Change projects and roll out agreed changes in your unit.
• Develop, direct and execute strategy development and execution for enterprise-wide core processing, embedding digital, CX, innovation, risk management and optimal execution as core capabilities.
• Direct effective operations risk management and business continuity strategies to ensure the continuous fulfillment and processing across all lines of business.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Banking/Finance, Business Administration or Banking related areas.
• Minimum five (5) years’ work experience in a Bank or other financial institution, of which four (4) years should be in a management role related to treasury operations, payment systems, credit risk management, foreign exchange and trading in investments.
• Experience delivering high quality, high impact operational solutions including digital solutions to support the optimization of key functions.
• Formal training in agile project management and supervisory management.
