Customer Service Representative

The incumbent is responsible for the administrative and operational functions of the Branch and will provide support to the Client Relations Officer/Branch Manager. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting the customers with reviewing and signing the loan disbursement documents generated from the Loan Management System and assist with enhancing the customer experience of the Branch. Support the Client Relations Officer/Branch Manager in relation to verification of all loan documentation.

Major Job Duties

  • Prepare and post the loan disbursement documents generated from the Loan Management System.
  • Maintain customer relationships and enhance the customer’s in-branch experience.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and update records on a regular basis.
  • Prepares, process and compile reports.

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Proficiency in English Language (written and oral)
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Open to learn new experiences and adapt quickly to changes within the working environment
  • Flexibility skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Must be team oriented
  • Must be organized and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Detail oriented

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of five (5) C.X.C. subjects including Mathematics or Accounts or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of two (2) years proven experience in Customer Service.
  • Customer Service experience in the Small Business Microfinance sector would be an asset.
  • Fluency in the languages of target communities and in-depth knowledge of the local communities.
