Job Purpose: The Marketing Intelligence Manager for Experience Turks and Caicos will lead and develop all marketing intelligence activities and services, transforming Experience Turks and Caicos from a traditional destination marketing organization to a Smart- destination marketing organization. All data generated by the organization will be utilized to continually monitor the impact of the tourism industry on the Turks and Caicos Islands economy and provide valuable insights to shape sustainable tourism development policies and strategies.

Essential Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Intelligence Unit
- Collaborate with all other Experience Turks and Caicos departments and units to provide them with tourism industry data for TCI
- Maintain strong relationships with TCI tourism stakeholders involved in data collection (e.g., Airports and Seaports Authorities, Border Authorities, TCIG, tourism accommodations, etc.)
- Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Experience Turks and Caicos' activities
- Ensure accurate execution of data analysis
- Analyze and approve statistical reports concerning TCI's tourism performance
- Manage the budget for market research, surveys, and statistical analysis
- Coordinate research and survey activities to analyze the tourism industry and demand in TCI
- Provide comprehensive analysis of all data generated by Experience Turks and Caicos
- Propose and implement new KPIs and tourism indicators, including the development of new IT tools for advanced data collection
- Continuously provide data analysis to the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing and Sales Unit Manager, assisting in defining marketing strategies and activities
- Offer recommendations based on data analysis results from the Market Intelligence Unit
Others:
- Participate in international symposiums, meetings, and forums related to tourism statistics and impacts
- Ensure that all statistical data is easily accessible and understandable for TCI tourism stakeholders
- Identify potential partners for specific projects related to tourism data collection and interpretation
- Collaborate with the CEO for annual performance reporting of Experience Turks and Caicos
- Explore opportunities to offer tourism data packages to stakeholders in TCI
Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Statistics
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in statistical analysis of the tourism industry, including trend analysis and impact assessments
- Proficient in data analysis, strong analytical and statistical inference skills, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills
Working Conditions:
