As a Technical Sales Specialist, you the first person customers meet when they enter the store, but you’ll be the person who guides them — advising, selling, and even setting up their new products.

TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you’ll become highly skilled at uncovering customers’ needs, then following through with meaningful solutions. Not only are you the first person customers meet when they enter the store, but you’ll be the person who guides them — advising, selling, and even setting up their new products. You perform other roles within the store too, whether it’s maintaining visual merchandising or assisting team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the consumers have the latest and most relevant product information at their fingertips when making a purchase decision.
• Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggests products to fit those needs
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
• Operate cash register and POS software
• Complete accurate sales transactions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, or marketing experience
• Agility to learn new products and features, with an interest in technology
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
