ELECTRICAN

Main Duties:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using appropriate tools which may include tachometers, electrical multimeters, hand held PLC programmers, drills, mechanical saws, sanders.
• Respond to emergency situations and diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters and regulators
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems, such as photo-switches, proximity sensors, limit switches and other related devices
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records 

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Main Duties:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulic and pneumatic tools equipment, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications;
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain equipment, apparatus and fixtures, using appropriate tools. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges etc.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes
• Inspect systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. 
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications using rules, calipers, micro-meters, and other measuring instruments.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

Key Requirements:

• 2-3 Years’ proven experience in technical field (preferably in a manufacturing facility)
• Certification in area of interest
• Flexibility. (Ability to work shifts and flexible hours including public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Working outside of normal working hours should the need arise.)
• Diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
